Testimonies that point back to God’s faithfulness.
A Divine Call Confirmed
In January 2016, God clearly spoke to our hearts through a vision, calling us to Senegal. Although we did not know how this calling would unfold, we chose to wait upon the Lord. Rather than moving ahead in our own strength, we trusted Him to open every door in His time. Looking back, we can testify that every significant step was orchestrated by His hand.
Divine Connections
One of the earliest confirmations of God’s calling was His providential connection with Bishop Louis in Senegal through Pr. Samkutty George. This relationship opened doors that we could never have created ourselves and affirmed that the Lord had already gone before us.
Ministry During the Pandemic
When the COVID-19 pandemic closed many doors around the world, God opened an unexpected one. Through online Bible teaching, we were privileged to minister to students at a Bible college associated with the Church of God in Senegal. What seemed like a season of limitation became a season of preparation, allowing God’s Word to be taught across national boundaries and relationships to be strengthened before our first visit.
God’s Faithful Provision
The Lord has continually demonstrated that where He calls, He also provides. From the initial vision that included the assurance of provision to every journey, ministry opportunity, and divine appointment, we have experienced His care in ways that have strengthened our faith and deepened our dependence on Him.
Seeing the Harvest & Lives Being Encouraged
Our visit to Senegal confirmed the burden God had placed on our hearts. We encountered faithful pastors, eager Bible students, and communities with a genuine desire to know God’s Word more deeply. These experiences affirmed that God is already at work in Senegal, and we are humbled to partner with what He is doing. Through Bible teaching, fellowship, prayer, and encouragement, we have witnessed believers being strengthened in their faith and leaders renewed in their commitment to serve Christ. While all glory belongs to God, we rejoice that He continues to use ordinary people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.
All Glory Belongs to God
Every testimony is ultimately a testimony of God’s grace. We have no desire to promote ourselves but to magnify the Lord who faithfully guides, provides, and accomplishes His purposes. His faithfulness gives us confidence for the future and reminds us that the ministry belongs to Him alone. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy -Psalm 126:3. Great is Thy faithfulness; Your mercies are new every morning.- Lamentations 22–23. Fruit That Brings Glory to God One of the greatest encouragements has been witnessing how God has continued His work in the lives of those who received biblical training. By God’s grace, two of the Bible college students are now serving as pastors, leading local churches and shepherding God’s people. Another graduate is faithfully ministering to primary-age children, teaching them Bible stories, worship songs, and foundational truths from Scripture, helping to nurture the next generation in the faith. In addition, one student has continued to pursue higher theological education in Zambia, preparing for even greater opportunities to serve the Kingdom of God.
