1. Faith in Jesus brings God’s power
Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'”
2. Abiding in Jesus is the foundation
John 15:5, 7
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit…”“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
A miracle-producing faith grows out of abiding in Christ.
3. Faith comes through hearing Christ
Romans 10:17
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
As we hear and receive Christ’s Word, our relationship with Him deepens.
4. Jesus responds to faith
Matthew 9:22
“Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well.”
5. Faith receives what God has promised
Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Faith is coming to God and seeking Him, not simply seeking miracles.
6. Believe in Jesus
John 11:40
“Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
7. Trust Him completely
Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”
8. Prayer in faith
James 5:15
“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.”
9. Nothing is impossible with faith in God
Mark 11:22–24
“Have faith in God… Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
10. Faith is centered on Christ
Galatians 2:20
“The life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
A simple biblical truth
Faith is not a force.
Faith is not positive thinking.
Faith is a personal relationship of trust in Jesus Christ.
When we:
- Know Jesus,
- Abide in Him,
- Hear His Word,
- Trust His promises,
- Walk in obedience,
we are in the place where God often chooses to reveal His glory through miracles, according to His will.
John 20:31
“These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.”
This verse reminds us that the greatest miracle is not physical healing, but receiving eternal life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Physical miracles point us to that greater reality.
